The Embassy Kiev does not handle migration matters for the time being

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the embassy in Kiev handles no longer any types of migration cases. This applies until further notice. People who want to apply for a visa or residence and work permit are referred to contact either the embassy in Skopje (North Macedonia) or to the General Consulate in Istanbul (Turkey). The same goes for others migration-related matters such as booking an investigation and even for applications initiated before February 2022. The Embassy does neither have the possibility to answer inquiries about ongoing migration cases and applicants are referred to one of the foreign authorities above or to the Swedish Migration Agency.

Below are links to the Embassy in Skopje and the Consulate General in Istanbul and the Migration Agency's websites. On these pages there is more information on how to apply for a visa or residence permit and/or work permit and contact details.
